CET is proud of its strong Governance, with its diverse Members, Trustees and Local Advisory Board (LAB) members.

The Trust Board has four committees: Audit and Risk Committee, Chief Executive Appraisal and Pay Review Sub Committee, Finance, HR and Business Development Committee and Student Achievement and Curriculum Committee. The committees report to the Trust Board following their meetings.

What does the LAB do?

The LAB acts as an informal committee of the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø (CET) Trust Board. LAB members are appointed by the Trust Board and carry out their functions at their respective schools/academies on behalf of the Trust Board, following the policies determined by the Trust Board.

The LAB follows an agreed Scheme of Delegation. The Scheme sets out the requirements of the Trust and details where the Trustees delegate responsibility to the LAB members in the decision-making for the School.
